What does it mean to be a woman?

Today in Italy the woman is called to show to defend their dignity, apparently offended by the latest events which, unfortunately, I regret having to call, "political."
"If not now, when?" is the slogan-title of this huge "call to arms of women and" Friends of Women ", which is taking place right now.

I, instead of being in Savona for expression, I am here to reflect on what it means to take to the streets today and, most importantly, what it means to be a woman today.
The poster (which you can find by clicking the image-symbol of the initiative, posted above) begins with The list of activities that women play in society and the importance it has in it. Then a concept, which I reproduce verbatim:

"This rich and varied experience of life is erased from repeated indecent representation of women paraded naked as a sexual object of exchange offered by newspapers, television, advertising. And this is no longer tolerable.
A widespread culture offers to the younger generations to achieve goals by offering easy money and glittering beauty and intelligence to the powers that be, willing to turn to exchange them with resources and public roles. "

Now ... How, I wonder, that the Woman now take to the streets to defend their dignity, yesterday he did not? Because once again we wait for someone else to tell us what to do? It took an Rubygate to unleash the wrath of feminists (who believe disappeared)?
What the manifesto of "If not now, when?" complaint, in fact, is an old and very Italian costume that does not affect just the feminine but the whole world of the younger generation (important if you have relatives, you're nobody unless you have recommendations do not go anywhere). We always wakes up too late.

I am a young woman and as such should I take to the streets ... but I'm really torn because I can not be entirely agree with this mobilization international practice (there are parades in various funds and foreign cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, Boston, Lisbon, etc. ...). Rather than "if not now, when" I have to ask "why only now?": We women should show every day, not only to challenge a system that is (unfortunately) only the tip of the iceberg!
We do not have too indignant if someone decides to use shortcuts to get where he wants, but rather that even today, the dawn of the end of the world proclaimed by the Maya, we can not put a skirt because it is too "vulgar" because if there is not as feminine it is quite a woman today if a man (for the same use and ability) to take more money just because it's biologically diverse (and for some, better). We should be indignant all day hearing the usual comments about what men should and should not do what a woman, on how it should live. We should be indignant every day for the rapes and violence. We should be horrified because I use to decide to do our uterus, there are still men (and church).

The woman-object is not the tissue or starlet or a prostitute, we are all subject to certain women-men! It 's the mentality that must change and the first to do so we have to be beginning to stop to judge other women for the first and demonizing our body.

not just an event created ad hoc ... we should learn to empathize with us ...

Women Being among women, other women as women. And we stop asking permission to men to be what we are!

another round ... another blog!

was a lot of time that was spinning on his head the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating a web site dedicated to my artistic activities. This blog has been the center of my "creations" but I began to think that deserves a separate space, maybe a little more professional ...

For now I'm happy blog of yet but I would not mind sooner or later also have a website ... megalomaniaaa ♫ ♪ ♫

As I wrote in my profile page dedicated to "the original purpose of this blog was to create a kind of Curriculum Vitae traceable via the web professional and credible ... For now I opened the blog ... = )"... Here, indeed!
For the moment I opened the blog and I've thrown a few articles on my paintings, but from here to consider "credible and professional," there goes!
Anyway, that's it!

so I thought I'd celebrate the beginning of my month!
